LOFTON, Elexive (Chuckle Bea)

West Valley View, Avondale, AZ April 23, 2010 Elexive "Chuckle Bea" Lofton, 80, of Buckeye died April 19, 2010, in Goodyear. Mrs. Lofton was born July 2, 1929, in Crocket, Texas. She moved to Arizona in 1951. She was a retired employee of the Buckeye Union High School District and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Mrs. Lofton is survived by three daughters, Nell Jolley of Los Angeles, Pat Phifer of Buckeye and Jenelle Batchan of Phoenix; two sons, George Jr. and David of Phoenix; four sisters, Payne Demby of Phoenix, Miller Wilburn of Buckeye, Vollie Pervis of Phoenix and Opal Jones of Phoenix; 15 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Southern Baptist Church, 405 N. Third St., Buckeye. The Rev. Richard Burrell will officiate.
