SHADE, John R.

The Camp Verde Bugle, Camp Verde, Arizona Wednesday, September 24, 2008 John R. Shade Sr. of Cottonwood, Ariz. and formerly of Eastpointe, Mich., died Sept. 11, 2008, at age 85. John received a Purple Heart in World War II and was a member of the VFW in Cottonwood. He was the husband of the late Mary Margaret and the late Mary E. Loving. Survivors include his children John, Charles and Susan Harlan, five stepchildren, one grandchild and five step-grandchildren. Inurnment is at Mt. Olivet Cemetery (Detroit).
