Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Saturday, October 8, 2011 - Elizabeth Ann Marass passed away on Fri., Sept. 23, 2011 in Las Vegas, Nev. at the age of 52. Beth, as she was known to her family and friends, was born on Sept. 13, 1959 in Indianapolis, Ind. to Frank and Vivian (Pulliam) Marass. Beth originally moved to Lake Havasu City in 1983. She then moved to Boulder City, Nev. until she relocated back to Lake Havasu City 13 years ago. She worked as a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) for many years. Among her hobbies were rescuing abused animals, horseback riding, quilting, hanging out with and talking with her daughter, listening to all kinds of music and traveling with her husband, Dale in his truck. Beth is survived by her husband Dale Lechner; daughter Rebecca Dawn Huff, both of Lake Havasu City; sisters Sheila Wiggins of Blanchard, Texas, Misty Winter-Oser of Porter, Texas and Rebecca Harrison of New Coney, Texas and one grandchild on the way. No services will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations in Beth’s memory may be made to Western Arizona Humane Society, 1100 Empire Dr., Lake Havasu City, AZ 86404.
