BRIGHT, William Ellis


Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Tuesday, October 11, 2011 - William Ellis Bright, 73, formerly of Port Huron, Mich., passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Aug. 28, 2011 in his home. He was born March 30, 1938 in Kimball Township, Mich. Mr. Bright served in the US Navy and was honorably discharged in 1960. He worked many years for the Grand Trunk Railroad before moving to Arizona, where he has lived for approximately 30 years. Bill enjoyed fishing and was an avid bowhunter. Since being in Arizona he has immensely enjoyed metal detecting in the west and overseas. He is survived by his daughter Juanita (Ashok) Siyal and one granddaughter Maliyah H. Siyal all of Yorktown, Va., Helayne Bright of Marysville, Mich., two brothers Robert (Shirley) Bright of Port Huron, Mich. and John Bright, along with several nieces and nephews. Bill is also preceded in death by his parents and three sisters Norma, Joyce and Harriett. Cremation has taken place and Bill is laid to rest in the beautiful Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, Nev.
