The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 10/18/2011 Roger S. Edwards, 99, of Show Low died Oct. 10, 2011, in Show Low. He was born May 22, 1912, in Santa Monica, Calif. Mr. Edwards was a retired supervisor with Douglas Aircraft; who began working there in April of 1936 in their experimental department. He graduated from high school in 1932 and attended the University of West Los Angeles. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and The Order of the Eastern Star for over 65 years and enjoyed big game fishing. Memorial Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, at the Show Low Masonic Lodge, 741 E. Whipple. Lunch will be served, following the service. Inurnment will be in the Show Low Cemetery. Black's Show Low Mortuary handled arrangements.
