SHANNON, Myra Gay

10 Dec 1893 - Jan 1976 Youngtown -- Myra Gay Shannon, 82, served 30 years as a registered nurse including service as a Red Cross nurse in World War I. She graduated from a Worcester, Massachusetts, hospital in 1917. She was a member of Ladies Oriental Shrine, Sphinx Court 65 in Phoenix. Survivors include two sisters. Services were in Lakeview United Methodist Church. Lundberg Mortuary. The Arizona Republic 1/14/1976 p. C-3.
