18 April 1915 - 11 January 1976 Thomas C.R. Scott, 60, of 3722 Grand Ave., was a member of Glendale American Legion Post 29. He was a bartender who had lived in Arizona 43 years and died Sunday, January 11, 1976, in St. Joseph's Hospital after he suffered gunshot wounds Thursday when the place where he worked was robbed. Survivors include his wife, Hilda; children, Delores Turley, Joan Frizzell, Bobbie Miller, Becky, Larry, Ronny, Jerry and Tommy; two brothers; two sisters; 17 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services were in Chapel of the Chimes, Glendale. The Arizona Republic 1/14/1976 p. C-3.
