WILSON, Arthur


Arthur Wilson, 79, of 11411 N. 91st Ave., died Thursday, January 8, 1976, in Boswell Hospital. He retired after 40 years with the National Police Traffic Safety Institute and had introduced and promoted driver training and traffic safety programs nationwide in high schools and was a member of a number of state and national law enforcement associations. He was a World War I veteran and charter member of the Elks Club in Dalhart, Texas. Survivors include his wife, Edith; stepchildren, Elizabeth Parrish, Norma Thompson, David, Glenn, Charles and Ernest Wallace, Jr.; 27 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Services were in Chapel of the Chimes, 7924 N. 59th Ave., Glendale. The Arizona Republic 1/10/1976. B-6.
