HAYNIE, Charles

West Valley View, Avondale, AZ September 13, 2011 Charles Haynie, 78, of Buckeye died Sept. 8, 2011, in Goodyear. Mr. Haynie was born in Hollis, Okla., to George and Jewel. He lived in Arizona for more than 70 years. He worked restoring, painting and customizing specialty automobiles, race cars and motorcycles. Mr. Haynie is survived by one daughter, Penny Linse of Seguin, Texas; two sons, Charles of Phoenix and George of Charlotte, N.C.; two step-daughters, Jannetta Farris of Buckeye and Tammy Farris of Phoenix; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. today at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery, 2300 W. Van Buren St. in Phoenix.
