VALDEZ, Maria

West Valley View, Avondale, AZ September 20, 2011 Maria de Los Angeles Tafolla Valdez, 94, of Buckeye died Sept. 16, 2011, at her home. Mrs. Valdez was born Oct. 27, 1916, in Guanajuato, Mexico. She moved to Arizona in 1959, and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church. She is survived by three daughters, Alicia, Maria Jimenez and Margarita; one sister; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. today at St. Henry Catholic Church, 128 S. Third St. in Buckeye. The Rev. William Kosco will officiate.
