VEREIDE, D'Eric Stetson

West Valley View, Avondale, AZ September 20, 2011 D'Eric Stetson Vereide, 70, of Buckeye died Sept. 10, 2011, at Kindred Hospital in Peoria. Mr. Vereide was born Aug. 2, 1941, in Elko, Nev., to Dorothy and James. He moved to Arizona in 2005. He is survived by his wife, Jeannette; two daughters, Dahli of Fresno, Calif., and Anneliese Henderson of Phoenix; two sons, Christopher of California and Bernice of South Carolina; two step-sons, John P. Scholtes of Milwaukee, and Donald R. Scholtes of Lyons, Ill.; four sisters, Daphne McGovern of Ohio, Judi Parker of Alaska, Betty Wood of Alaska and Sarah Rosenthal of Washington; and five grandchildren. Services were held Sept. 17 at Best Funeral Services in Peoria. The Rev. Mark Gribowski officiated. Memorials can be sent to St. Henry's Catholic Church Building Fund, 128 S.
