Leonard Philip Joseph Bedatsky, 44, was born July 8, 1967, in Kearny, NJ, to Yvonne Lorraine DeHonestis Bedatsky and Herbert Burton Bedatsky. He passed away October 15, 2011, in Flagstaff. Lenny's greatest love was spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer "Jenna" Jane Woodard Bedatsky and children, Rachel Elizabeth, Alexander James and Leah Renee; and family: David, Rita, Christopher, Lauren and Jessica Burton; Michele, Jeffrey, Zachary, Carter and Cooper Whittington; Jeffrey, Tricia, Anthony and Nicholas Bedatsky; Sheryl, Robert, Joseph and Jonathon Atlas; Matthew and Nina Bedatsky; and Nicole, Bryan, Connor and Cassidy Schilling.
Lenny lived in Flagstaff where he owned and operated Mountain Vista Tile and Earthworks Stone & Design for twelve years. He had pride in the people he trained in the art of tile and granite and in the quality of his work. Lenny enjoyed the outdoors and spent his free time with his family camping, hiking, bow hunting and fishing. He had a generous spirit and loved a good laugh. Lenny was an excellent chef; people savored the meals he created. He was an accomplished artist in pen and ink, oil, watercolor, wood, metal and stone.
Lenny, you are a loving, supportive husband, a devoted father and a loyal friend and brother. We are so proud of you and the life you lived and shared with us. Thank you. We miss you and are waiting for the day we meet again.
