The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 10/21/2011 Ruby "Elaine" Bates, 47, of Show Low died Oct. 13, 2011, in Show Low. Elaine is survived by her husband, Michael Bates; two daughters: Heather of Tucson and Amanda of Show Low; her mother, Ruby Ortega of Mesa; and four brothers: Dennis, Eddie, Larry and Robert, all of Mesa. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 21, at Porter Mountain Family Fellowship. Interment will follow at the Show Low Cemetery. Black's Show Low Mortuary handled arrangements.
