Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Tuesday, October 18, 2011 - Diane Lea Johnson passed away Oct. 6, 2011 in Lake Havasu City, at the age of 41. She was born on Sept. 9, 1970, in San Bernardino, Calif., to James and Juanita (Godfrey) Johnson. Diane made Lake Havasu her home 22 years ago. She worked at Albertson’s for nine years and went on to work at the Metro Water District in Parker for three years. Diane enjoyed the outdoors, shopping and spending time with family and friends. She was known to be a social butterfly and a hard worker. She had a huge heart and would do anything for anyone. Diane was a member of AA. Diane leaves behind her beloved family, son, Colton Simms; mother, Juanita Johnson; brother, Steve Johnson; sister, Lisa Ellison; stepbrothers, Scott and Dean Johnson; and stepsister, Toni Johnson. She will also be dearly missed by her many friends. Memorial services will be held at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home Saturday, at 2 p.m., at Lake Havasu Baptist Church.
