Valerie Zarbock, 80, of Tonopah died Sept. 26, 2011, in Avondale.
Ms. Zarbock was born Aug. 31, 1931, in Chicago. She retired from Ruth Fisher Elementary in Tonopah.

She is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth and Jennifer; one sister, Anne Joachim; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
