Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Wednesday, October 19, 2011 - Shirley Flatt Dec. 7, 1936 - Oct. 15, 2011 Shirley Flatt, age 74, passed away at home after several months of illness. Born Dec. 7, 1936, in Michigan, she moved to Lake Havasu in 1972, wife of Gene Flatt for 50 years of marriage. Shirley is survived by her husband, Gene; one brother, Gerald Rabb; five children, sons, Rick Flatt and Terry Flatt; three daughters, Sue Eller, Gloria Benson and Linda Christion, all from Michigan; and several grandchildren. She loved to travel, play bridge, Karaoke and going to Laughlin. She has many friends and she will be truly missed by all.
