West Valley View, Avondale, AZ October 11, 2011 Yolanda Ibarra, 59, of Phoenix died Oct. 7, 2011, at her home. She was born March 14, 1952, in Avondale to Eduardo and Maria Moreno. She worked for DHL and was a homemaker. Visitation is 5 p.m. Wednesday at Thompson's Valley West Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road in Goodyear. A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Williams Catholic Church, 11025 W. Third St. in Avondale. Burial will follow at West Resthaven Park Cemetery in Glendale. ~~~~~~~~~ Thompson Funeral Chapel Goodyear, Arizona Yolanda Ibarra, 59, of Phoenix passed away October 7, 2011at home. She was born March 14, 1952 in Avondale, AZ to Eduardo and Maria Moreno. She was a loving and caring mother. She was the best “Nana” ever! Yolanda worked for 15 years for DHL Express. Her favorite pastimes were camping and being the #1 fan for the D-Backs. She is survived by her mother Mary G. Moreno, her sons Jose M. Ibarra Jr., Luis A. Ibarra, and Robert E. Ibarra, her daughter Sandra I. Ibarra, her brothers Edwardo “Eddie” II, Michael, Randy, Andrew and Juan MorenO and her sister Anna Moreno Rodriguez, and 12 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister Rebecca “Becky” her brother Marcos “Mark” and her father Eddie P. Moreno. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at 6:00pm with a rosary at 7:00 at Thompson’s Valley West Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Rd, Goodyear, AZ. Mass will be celebrated for her at St. Williams Catholic Church in Cashion, AZ Thursday morning, October 13 AT 10:00am. Burial will follow at West Resthaven Cemetery in Phoenix.
