FORD, Joseph (Joe) Franklin

West Valley View, Avondale, AZ October 21, 2011 Joseph "Joe" Franklin Ford, 63, of Avondale died Oct. 18, 2011, at West Valley Hospital in Goodyear. Mr. Ford was born Jan. 14, 1948, in Phoenix. He was a residential painter. He was a sergeant in the Army and served in the Vietnam War as a field artillery operator. His awards include National Defense Service Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, Army Rifle Expert, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and Army Commendation Medal. He is survived by one daughter, Ashlynn; one son, Anakin; his mother, Lois Ford; and one sister, Patricia Roderick.
