West Valley View, Avondale, AZ April 30, 2010 Jose Lorenzo Carrasco, 50, of Avondale died April 26, 2010, at his home. Mr. Carrasco was born March 10, 1960, in Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. As a youth, he was awarded "Boy of the Year" by former Arizona State University football coach Frank Kush. He is survived by one daughter, Tanya; four sons, Jose, Lorenzo, Mario and Angelo; one stepson, Jesse "Bobby" Rojas; his parents, Joe "Nene" and Eva; one brother, Antonio; two sisters, Veronica Carrasco-Sosa and Maria Guadalupe Rosa; and four grandchildren. A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 1414 S. 17th Ave. in Phoenix. Visit the Web site crystalrosefuneralhome.com to leave condolences for the family.
