DENT, Ronald E.

West Valley View, Avondale, AZ April 30, 2010 Ronald E. Dent, 72, of Avondale died April 25, 2010. Mr. Dent was born June 19, 1937, in Spring Hill, W.Va., to Elva Hill and Arnold. He served in the Army as a member of the 77th Special Forces Group. He studied tool and die design at Allied Institute of Technology in Chicago, and he owned and operated Space Age Metalcraft in Phoenix for 34 years. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis W.; three daughters, Carol Schulke, Shelly Towne and Mary Brandon; two sons, Ronald Joseph and Arnold Jeffrey; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Interment was held April 28 at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix.
