Della G. "Jerrie" Rooks, 91, of Litchfield Park died April 27, 2010, in Goodyear.
She was born Dec. 13, 1918, in Arma, Kan., to William and Ann Schweizer. She married H.L. "Jack" Rooks in 1945 and moved to Arizona. In 1946, the couple moved to Buckeye where they farmed cotton, maize and alfalfa and raised cattle. They moved to Litchfield Park after selling the farm.
She is survived by one daughter, Gerre Arnold; one son, Don; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, H.L.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Church at Litchfield Park, 300 N. Old Litchfield Road in Litchfield Park.
