West Valley View, Avondale, AZ May 07, 2010 Stella Reid, 64, of Phoenix died April 27, 2010, at Phoenix Baptist Hospital. Mrs. Reid was born Oct. 26, 1945, in Mt. Clemons, Mich., to Donald and Stella Waddell. She graduated from Agua Fria High School in 1964. She worked at Alhambra School in Phoenix. She was a member and volunteer for the Woodsmen of the World. She is survived by three sons, John B. of West Covina, Calif., Robert J. of Hobbs, N.M., and Charles G. II of Lompoc, Calif.; one daughter, Gail D. Pickett of Troy, Ill.; one sister, Patricia Spillane of Phoenix; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Charles G. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Saturday with services beginning at 11 at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary, 719 N. 27th Ave. in Phoenix. Memorials may be made to Arizona Humane Society, 9226 N. 13th Ave. in Phoenix.
