TROUP, William Francis

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Monday, October 24, 2011 William Francis Troup May. 1, 1944 - Sept. 11, 2011. William Francis Troup passed away on Sept. 11, 2011, at Yavapai Regional Medical Center. He is survived by his wife, Terry Shawn (Flynn) Troup. He and Terry were married for 35 blessed years. He is also survived by his brothers, Charles L. Troup of West Virginia, and Daniel L. Troup of Pennsylvania and sister, Hazel Larue Troup of Oklahoma. He is preceded in death by Leroy F. Troup Sr., 72, on Jan. 11 1976; brother, James Adam Troup, 43, on Oct. 25, 1976; mother, Anna Grace Troup, 72, on March. 22, 1982, and brother, Leroy Fredrick Troup Jr., 63, on July 31, 2003. Bill served honorably in the National Guard (1962-1964). He lived in Paulden, Ariz., at the time of his death and lived in Arizona for the past 36 years after moving here from his home in Pennsylvania. He was saved while he was in service and again three days before passing away. He was cremated by Serenity Mortuary Services Inc. in Phoenix, Ariz. and funeral services were held at a small church in Prescott, Ariz. Information provided by survivors.
