The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, October 25, 2011 Rosemarie Buchanan, 79, born May 31, 1932, in New York City, was mercifully taken home by our loving and gracious Lord on Oct. 20, 2011. Although her family and friends desired her to remain a little longer, we know that "precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints." (Psalms 116:15). She leaves behind her sister, Annabel Childers; her children, Kathy Larsen (Randy), Karen Ortiz (Fred), Doug Wierson and Diane Primm; stepchildren David (Chris), Billy, Janet (Terry), Kevin (Carol) and Connie; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends who loved her and will miss her greatly. She was preceded in death by her husband, William, and her parents, Henry and Helen Gunther. She was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War, a retired secretary and an active member of her church. There will be a celebration of her life 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 7763 E. Long Look Drive in Prescott Valley. Interment will be 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 28, 2011, at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road in Phoenix.
