The Rev. Charles (Chuck) A. Fradenburgh, Jr., 83, died Oct. 19 in Tucson. He was born April 15, 1928, in Hamilton Township, N.Y., to the late Charles A. and Flora A. Carpenter Fradenburgh.
He was raised in central New York, moving as a young man to Illinois, where he graduated from Roosevelt University and Garrett Biblical Institute. He served as a United Methodist pastor in Illinois for 26 years. He subsequently came to Arizona, taking up a second career as an electronics engineer until his final retirement.
His many hobbies and interests included photography, camping, woodworking, leather crafts, and long walks around the neighborhood. During his 18 years in Wickenburg, Chuck belonged to the Wickenburg Camera Club and served two years as president of the Arizona Camera Club Council. He was active in the First Presbyterian Church of Wickenburg, serving as church treasurer and setting up the P.A. system for various activities.
Chuck is survived by his wife of 61 years, Barbara. Also surviving him are his sister Dorothy Ingalls; children Shari Fradenburgh (Joe Taylor), Joan Fradenburgh, Lois Carl (Rick), Neil Fradenburgh (Victoria Crawford), and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Arrangements for a memorial service are pending.
The family suggests donations to the First Presbyterian Church of Wickenburg in lieu of flowers.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011, at the First Presbyterian Church of Wickenburg. The family suggests donations to First Presbyterian Church or The United Methodist Preacher’s Aid Society in lieu of flowers.
Chuck is survived by his wife of 61 years, Barbara; four children, Shari Fradenburgh (Joe Taylor), Joan Fradenburgh, Lois Carl (Rick), and Neil Fradenburgh (Victoria Crawford); and six grandchildren.
