CODY, Joel Mitchell

Silver Creek Mortuary, Taylor, Arizona Joel Mitchell Cody (January 20, 1985 - October 11, 2011) In Memory of Joel Mitchell Cody who passed away on October 11, 2011 at Geronimo's Pass. Joel attended School in the Whiteriver area from 1st to 12th grade. He was a friendly person who loved music, the outdoors, fishing, camping, hiking, hunting with his brothers and sisters and enjoyed working doing drywall and painting. Joel is survived by is companion Polly Martinez, his son Arieus Aubry Cody, Father; Lynn Cody, Mother; Alverna Cody. Brothers; Charley Roberts jr. (Tisha), Easton Roberts (lynsay Fall), John Cody (Benita Antonio), Al Cody and Wayne Cody. Sisters; Dawn Roberts, Brenda Roberts (Gabe Logan), Kelly Cody (Jesse Palmer), Cai Cody (Rick DiValentino jr.) and Lana Holl. Joel has 11 Nephews, 11 Neices, 3 grand nephews 3 grand neices and many family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Hazel and Hobart Tortice, Justin and Della Zahgotah, Clinton Cody and Aunt; Lenita Cody. A one night wake was held Friday October 14, 2011 at the Lynn Cody residence. The Funeral was Saturday October 15, 2011 9am at the Whiteriver Catholic Church. Joel was laid to rest in the Fort Apache Cemetery, Fort Apache Arizona.
