Hans Weder passed away on Oct. 21, 2011, after struggling for several months with congestive heart failure.
He was born March 31, 1924 in Thun, Switzerland.
He traveled and worked in several countries and then settled in 1954 in the Seattle area.
In 1959, he started a company selling precision machinery and tools, primarily from Europe.
He also served as Honorary Swiss Consul for the State of Washington for 25 years.
He was a member of Eureka Lodge No. 20 F. & A.M. of Washington, a member of Shriners International, and a member of Scottish Rite U.S.A.
He loved to travel with his motor home through the United States and belonged to “Fun on Wheels.”
After his retirement, he settled in Cornville, AZ, and joined Mingus Mountain Shrine Club.
Hans is survived by his wife, Trudi, of 63 years, two sons, and four grand children.
A celebration of Life will be held in December in the Northwest.
