CARLIN, Barbara June

Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Saturday, October 22, 2011 - Barbara June Carlin, 71, passed away on Monday, Oct. 17, 2011 in Lake Havasu City. She was born on Feb. 08, 1940 in Yuma, Ariz. to Troy and Ruth (Davis) Duncan. Barbara moved to Lake Havasu City 18 years ago, coming from Sacramento, Calif. She married her husband Jim Carlin in Carson City, Nev. on July 01, 1981. Barbara was a loving and kind person to all that were in her life, especially towards her husband, mother, sister, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had many friends in Lake Havasu who were always there for her and took care of her. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Jim Carlin of Lake Havasu City; son, JD (Jenny) Ricks of Lakeside, Calif.; daughter, Tonya (Ron) Schauer of Bonanza, Ore.; son, Mark Carlin of Sacramento, Calif.; mother, Ruth Duncan of Yuma, Ariz.; sister, Wilma (Gene) of Roll, Ariz.; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Troy Duncan, daughter, Kelly Carlin and son, Mike Carlin. Donations can be made in Barbara's name to Hospice of Havasu, 365 S. Lake Havasu Ave., LHC.
