Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Thursday, October 27, 2011 - Frank W. Shogren, (77), went to be with the Lord on Oct. 23, 2011. Frank had move to Lake Havasu two years ago and was residing with his niece, Pamela Kaysen-Valcik when he passed. He was born in Chicago, Ill., on Dec. 28, 1933. He retired from St. James Hospital in Chicago Heights and was a former police commissioner of Sauk Village, Ill. Frank was a decorated Korean War veteran and an active member of VFW Post 2690. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ellen (Hess) Shogren and sisters Ilah Kaysen and Peggy Jacob. No service will take place. The family requests that any donations may be made in Frank's name to Hospice of Havasu P.O. Box 597 Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405
