West Valley View, Avondale, AZ October 28, 2011 Manuela Dominguez, 85, of Tolleson died Oct. 25, 2011, in Phoenix. Mrs. Dominguez was born June 3, 1926, in El Paso, Texas. She moved to Arizona in 1944, and worked as a garment inspector at Spring City Knitting Co. in Glendale. She was an original member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Tolleson. She is survived by one daughter, Vivian Martinez of Tolleson; three sons, Louis Frank of Glendale, Salvador of Glendale and Manuel of Peoria; two sisters, Rosa Flores and Lupe Stremel Favela; four brothers, Ramon, Santos, Alvino and Salvador Favela; and 10 grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 512 N. 93rd Ave. in Tolleson, with a rosary recital at 6 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Oct. 31 at the church, with burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 10045 W. Thomas Road in Avondale. The Rev. Daniel McBride will officiate.
