DOUGLASS, Virginia (Ginny)

West Valley View, Avondale, AZ October 28, 2011 Virginia "Ginny" Douglass, 86, of Litchfield Park died Oct. 24, 2011, at her home. Mrs. Douglass was born Sept. 26, 1925, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Gus and Frances Wezel. She moved to Arizona in 1971 with her husband, Col. Walter A. Douglass Sr. She was a member of the Church at Litchfield Park, and the Military Officer's Wives Club at Luke Air Force Base. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter, in 2008. She is survived by one daughter, Cherry Bujac; one son, Bud; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. today at the Church at Litchfield Park, 300 N. Old Litchfield Road in Litchfield Park. A burial at Arlington National Cemetery will be at a later date.
