West Valley View, Avondale, AZ October 28, 2011 Kenneth "Grasshopper" C. LeRoy, 72, of Buckeye died Oct. 23, 2011. Mr. LeRoy was born May 15, 1939, in Ottawa, Ill., to Howard and Gertrude. He served in the Navy aboard the USS Lexington, and retired from Arizona Public Service Co. He is survived by his wife, Joan; one daughter, Kelly Byasse; two sons, Kenneth E. and Keith E.; two sisters, Barbara and Julie; two brothers, Howard "Happy" and James; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Thompson's Valley West Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road in Goodyear. Condolences can be sent to the family at www.thompsonfuneralchapel.com.
