Dorothy M. Metz, 83, of Avondale died Oct. 20, 2011, in Peoria. 

Mrs. Metz was born March 6, 1928, in Wayne County, Mo. She moved to Arizona in 1963.

She is survived by three daughters, 

Carlla Mathias, Carole Mabrey and Debi Bradish; one son, Eugene; two sisters, 

Barbara Vaught and Willa Jordan; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Services are private.
