Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from October 27 to November 3, 2011 - Daniel Tipton Casey, age 71, a 20-year resident of Bullhead City, Ariz., passed away Sunday, October 23, 2011, in Las Vegas, Nev., after his illness with Cancer. Daniel was born on March 9, 1940, to Dan and Ilean Casey of Waterford, Calif. Dan lived in Waterford until 1971, working for Foster Farms until moving his family to Ramona, Calif. Before retiring, Dan was a maintenance manager in Southern Calif. His hobby's were playing pool and cooking. As a member of the Moose Lodge, Dan had many friends old and new. Dan was always up for a challenge and lived his life to the fullest. He was Irish through and through. Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Ilean Casey of Waterford, Calif.; brother, Ted Casey of Stevinson, Calif.; and sister, Louise Casey of Merced, Calif. Dan is survived by his wife of 37 years, Esperanza Casey of Bullhead City, Ariz.; son, Dan (Beth) Casey of Oakdale, Calif.; daughter, Dana (Jeff) Dunkirk of Waterford, Calif; brothers, Pat Casey, Joe (Sharolyn) Casey of Waterford, Calif; grandchildren, Sean and Shannon Dunkirk of Waterford, Calif; Janine Quaccia and Wyatt Casey of Oakdale, Calif; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services are pending.
