Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from October 26 to November 2, 2011 - Mary "Janette" Hendrix, age 71, a 3-year resident of Bullhead City, passed away Friday, October 21, 2011, in Bullhead City, Ariz. She was born August 2, 1940, in Kinta, Okla. Before her retirement, she worked as a Medical Equipment Inspector. Janette was a member of the Women's Auxiliary and American Legion in Tujunga, Calif. She was preceded in death by her parents, Troy and Marie Cummings of Stigler, Okla.; first husband, Jerry Jarrell of Haden, Idaho; second husband, Bill Hendrix of Tujunga, Calif.; two sons-in-law, Billy Ray Smith of Wichita, Kan. and Dominic Briscoe of Tujunga, Calif. Janette is survived by her life partner, Jeff Prenevau of Bullhead City; four daughters, Pam (Jimmy) Duggin of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Lori Jarrell and Janet Jarrell, both of Wichita, Kan., and Cindy Briscoe of Erin, Tenn.; two grandsons, Charles and Corbin Smith of Wichita, Kan.; two granddaughters, Christina Shank of Wichita, Kan. and Rebecca (Stan) Fisher of Gallatin, Tenn.; three great-grandsons; and four great-granddaughters. Private ceremonies will be held at Finger Mountain in Bullhead City, and the Cross in Tujunga, Calif. Arrangements are under the care of Dimond & Sons Silver Bell Chapel in Bullhead City.
