Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Saturday, October 29, 2011 - Margaret Katherine Dowell, 87, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 20, 2011 in Lake Havasu City. She was born July 3, 1924, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Daniel and Katherine (Donner) Mayer. Margaret and her late husband, Raymond Dowell, moved to Lake Havasu City 22 years ago, coming from Los Angeles, Calif. She will be deeply missed and will be laid to rest next to her husband at Riverside National Veterans Cemetery. Margaret is survived by her brother, Daniel John (Chris) Mayer, of Simi Valley, Calif.; nephew, Daniel William (Christine) Mayer and niece, Cynthia Mayer, of Huntinton Beach, Calif. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Dowell; and a brother, Edward Mayer. Interment will be held at Riverside National Veterans Cemetery in Riverside, Calif.
