James "Jim" Roarty, age 69, a 50-year resident of Phoenix and Bullhead City, Ariz., passed away on Friday, October 21, 2011 in Las Vegas, Nev. Jim was born in Detroit, Mich. on January 6, 1942. 

Jim was a craftsman, a master mechanic, and a winning thoroughbred trainer.

Jim was husband and friend of Carroll Roarty for more than 38 years. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Vincent De Paul Society, St. Margaret Mary Conference, 780 Marina Blvd., Bullhead City, AZ, 864423.
