LEAMONS, Rose Marie

Parker Pioneer, Parker, AZ - Published on October 26, 2011 - Rose Marie Leamons, 86, passed away on Oct. 12, 2011 at Lake Havasu City Regional Hospital. She was born in Douglas, Ariz. Oct. 28, 1924. When she was two-years-old, the family moved to Los Angeles. She loved the city, but decided, with her family, to move back to Arizona to enjoy river life. Here in Parker, she met lots of people who became life-long friends and an extended family. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Don Leamons, son Dennis Leamons; grandsons Chris Leamons and Mike Leamons of Snohomish, Wash, and daughter Roxanne and son-in-law Don French; grandson Tony French and his wife Heather French and great-granddaughter Miss Audrey Rose French. She is also survived by her brother Fernando Acuna of Garden Grove, Calif. and sister Bea Lefler of Brea, Calif. Rose was loved by everyone and will be dearly missed. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
