STEVENS, LeRoy

LeRoy Stevens, born October 25, 1929 in Hillsdale, Michigan, passed away December 24, 2000. The son of Arthur Egbert Stevens and Rose Bauman Stevens, LeRoy was a Korean War veteran who taught for 7 years at the Phoenix Union Technical High School and at Phoenix College from 1964-1995. He was an active member of the North Phoenix Baptist Church where he was a deacon and a Bible Study teacher. He was also instrumental in the development of Television ministry at North Phoenix Baptist Church. The Arizona Republic 12/27/2000
