Frances Torres Parra, born in Douglas, Arizona on November 30, 1914, went home to be with the Lord on December 22, 2000. She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Gilbert Lopez Parra, son Gilbert Joseph Parra, parents Eugene and Luz Torres, brother Theodore, Joe, Tony, Raymond, Edward, and Eugene Torres, sister Mary Torres Rios. She leaves behind a brother Frank Torres and two sisters, Virginia Adkins and Lucy Mora, her son George Parra and wife Josefina of Glendale, Arizona, son Richard Parra and wife Cheryl of Detroit, Michigan, daughter Josephine Parra Murillo and husband Arthur B. Murillo of Apple Valley, California, daughter Kathleen Parra Austin and husband John D. Austin of Sun Lakes, Arizona, wife of deceased son, Roseanne Cervantez Parra, 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren and countless nieces and nephews. Visitation was at Mortensen Kings Funeral Center 2225 N. 16th St. Services at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 5614 W. Orangewood Avenue.
