FARMER, Gerald (Bud)


Gerald "Bud" Farmer, 80, of Payson, Arizona, passed away December 30, 2000. He was born on June 29, 1920 in Gallup, New Mexico. Mr. Farmer was a painting contractor and a World War II Marine Veteran who served in the Pacific. He attended Mountain Bible Church and was an employee of the U.S. Forest Service. He was a member of Payson Ranger Station, Painting and Decorating Contractors of America, Boy Scout Leader and acting Chaplain at Arizona Boys Ranch. He is survived by his wife: Evelyn Farmer of Payson, AZ sons: John J. Farmer of Alpine, AZ and Don Farmer of Scottsdale, AZ daughters: Sharon Parks of Scottsdale, AZ and Alicia Farmer of Dobbins, CA sisters: Geraldine Fagan of Alpine, AZ and Patricia Isaak of Fairfield, CA brother: James Hagen of Christopher Creek, AZ and 6 grandchildren. Funeral service was at Mountain Bible Church, 302 E. Rancho Road, Payson, AZ. Interment at Mountain Meadows Memorial Park, Payson, AZ. Arrangements entrusted to Messinger Payson Funeral Home.
