Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Tuesday, November 1, 2011 - Carol Ann Sheeler, 70, passed away Oct. 25, 2011 in Lake Havasu City. She was born Nov. 19, 1940, in Chicago, Ill., to Carlo and Stephanie Priorello. Carol moved to Lake Havasu City 20 years ago, coming from Burbank, Ill., where she lived for 17 years. She was a member of the VFW, American Legion, Eagles, Lions and the Moose Lodge. She will be deeply missed and forever loved by her family and friends. Carol is survived by her children, Adam Balasa, Carl (Judy) Balasa, Scott Balasa, Kathleen (Daniel) Alexander and Gregory (Jamie) Sheeler; sisters, Dorothy Oszkandy and Marie Kobzaruk; brother-in-law, Richard Kowalski; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; many nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Ginger. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Sheeler; brother, John Nedvar; sisters, Gerri Hood and Patricia Kowalski.
