West Valley View, Avondale, AZ November 01, 2011 Doris Elaine Clark, 83, of Tolleson died Oct. 30, 2011. Mrs. Clark was born July 21, 1928, in Lomita, Calif., to Sibert and Lida Thrasher. She worked with her husband and son at Clark's Chevron Automotive in Tolleson, and was also a member of the Tolleson Woman's Club. She is survived by her husband, Alvin Drue; one son, Larry; two daughters, Sandra Oliver and Karen Ellis; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Conley Thrasher and Bill Thrasher; and one sister, Norma Slaughter. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Heritage Funeral Chapel, 6830 W. Thunderbird Road in Peoria. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Heritage Funeral Chapel. Memorials can be sent to the Tolleson Women's Club, P.O. Box 485, Tolleson, AZ 85353.
