Federico Sierra, 75, of Phoenix and formerly Avondale died May 11, 2010, in Goodyear.

Mr. Sierra was born March 24, 1935, in Agua Prieta, Mexico, to Francisco and Elvira. He moved to Arizona in 1951 and worked as a farm laborer.

He is survived by one son, Pedro; two sisters, Maria Magdalena Sierra and Rebecca; six brothers, Pancho, Pablo, Daniel, Lurs Angel, Jose Dimas and Samuel; seven grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Thompson's Valley West Funeral Chapel 926 S. Litchfield Road in Goodyear.
