West Valley View, Avondale, AZ May 21, 2010 Alfred Karstetter, 86, of Goodyear died May 17, 2010, in Goodyear. Mr. Karstetter was born Jan. 28, 1924, in Gilbert. He had served in the U.S. Army Air Forces. He owned Good Tires in Goodyear and was a member of the Kiwanis Club and First Southern Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Faye; one daughter, Barbara Patterson of Payson; two sons, Butch of Phoenix and Scott of Goodyear; three sisters, Ruthie Wood, Verna Martin and Kathlean Bruehl, all of Buckeye; one brother, Garland of Showlow; 17 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at 9 a.m. Saturday with services at 10 at First Southern Baptist Church, 1001 N. Central Ave. in Avondale. The Rev. Jack Marslender will officiate.
