The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 11/04/2011 Michael Edward McKelvey, 27, of Show Low died Oct. 27, 2011. He was born Sept. 5, 1984, in Phoenix. Michael was a family man who loved his children, his family and his mother more than anything on earth. Some of his other loves included music, fishing, animals and making everyone laugh at his silly jokes. Michael was a giver who always tried to help other people. He enjoyed volunteering at the local animal shelter. He would give anyone the shirt of his back because above all, he was compassionate and kind. "Michael will be dearly missed and always in our hearts, thoughts and souls. We will all be together again one day and we can't wait until then." Michael was preceded in death by his grandfather, Edward Lee Breshears; and second mom Cinday Ann Breshears. Michael left behind a very close-knit loving family to forever mourn his loss and honor his memory including: mother Ronda L. McKelvey; father Ricky L. McKelvey; dad Brian Breshears; grandmother Mary Breshears; uncles: Ed Breshears and Kevin Breshears; aunt Arleen Breshears; daughter Mercedes McKelvey, 7; son John McKelvey, 5; brothers: David McKelvey, Kody McKelvey, Miles McQuire, Derik Breshears, and Justin Breshears; sisters: Cheyanne McKelvey and April McKelvey and many nieces, nephews and close friends. "Dear Michael, son we will be together again, you are now and always will be in my heart. I love you with all my heart son, Rest In Peace. All my love, mom." Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4, at Black's Show Low Mortuary, 401 N. 4th Ave. In Lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the family to help with funeral expenses.
