The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ January 18, 1963 Mrs Van Cleve Is Buried Here Funeral services were held in Phoenix last Saturday morning for Mrs Winnie Van Cleve, a resident of Wickenburg from 1953 until 1958, who passed away January 8 at the home of her son John H. Van Cleve in Tucson. She was 78 years of age, a native of Texas and a resident of Arizona for 44 years. Mr & Mrs Van Cleve moved to Wickenburg from Peeples Valley where they had ranched for many years. Mr Van Cleve, who was active in the First Baptist Church here and helped build that structure, died in 1958. Rev. R. L. Jenkins of the First Baptist Church conducted the funeral services at the Paradise Chapel and Funeral Home. Burial was in the Wickenburg' Cemetery. Surviving are three sons, John H. of Tucson, Vernon F. of Yuma and Cortis Ray of Carrollton, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs Thelma Kistler of Phoenix and Mrs Eva Fink of Houston, Tex., and three brothers residing out of state.
