The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ March 8, 1963 Death Summons Mrs. Elsie Reed Word has been received here of the death March 3 in Tulsa, Okla., of Mrs. Elsie Reed, wife of Harry A. Reed and former resident of Yarnell. Mrs. Reed, age 85, died of pneumonia. Funeral services were held Thursday of this week in Tulsa with cremation following. Mr & Mrs Reed moved from Yarnell to Tulsa a year ago to live with their daughter, Mrs. Lea Bennett. Mrs. Reed was a member of the Eastern Star. Her husband was at one time, editor of the “The Sun’s Rays”, a miscellany of articles and feature stories in the New York Sun and was a vice president of the old National Bank of Commerce of New York. A son, Charles E. Reed of Yarnell is among the survivors.
