The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ March 22, 1963 Mrs. Murray’s Brother Dies Mrs. Thelma E. Murray of Wickenburg has received work of the death of her brother Elijah Campbell Todd, a former resident here, which occurred suddenly Monday morning in San Bernardino, Calif. Funeral services were held in a funeral parlor at San Bernardino followed by burial in the National Cemetery in San Diego. Born February 4, 1899, Mr. Todd served in World War I and was one of the first American soldiers to be sent overseas. He received several medals including the Purple Heart and Silver Star. Survivors include one son, the sister, Mrs. Murray; a brother, J. S. (Jim) Todd of Morristown and two others, J. D. Todd of Prescott and H. A. Todd of Prescott and H. A. of Silver City, N.M. and six grandchildren.
