The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ March 29, 1963 Death Summons Pioneer Woman Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. March 22 in the A. L. Moore & Sons Mortuary in Phoenix for Mrs. J. B. Maggie Armer, mother of Mrs. Irene Evans who ranches near Morristown. Mrs. Armer, who was 88 years of age, came to the Tonto Basin area of Arizona in 1877 from her birthplace in Whittier, Calif. She moved to Phoenix in 1914 and passed away March 20 in a Phoenix hospital. In addition to the daughter, four sons survive. They are Press, Paul and John Armer and L. E. Gibson, all of Phoenix. Nine grandchildren also survived.
